Corporeal soul

In Chinese medicine, the corporeal soul (po): a yin aspect of the spirit bound to essence. The Neijing states that what enters and exits together with essence is the po. Stored by the lung, it governs instinctive sensation, bodily reflexes, and innate physiological activity.
