Extraordinary fu organs

奇恒之府qi heng zhi fu

In Chinese medicine, the extraordinary fu organs: brain, marrow, bone, vessels, gallbladder and uterus. The Neijing groups these six as engendered by earth-qi, storing yin like the zang yet shaped like the fu, and so storing without draining (名曰奇恒之府) — a category distinct from both the five zang and the conveying fu.
