Different treatments for the same disease
同病异治tong bing yi zhi

In Chinese medicine, the principle of treating the same disease differently. The Neijing illustrates it by noting that a like condition is dispersed and cooled in the northwest yet contracted and warmed in the southeast (所謂同病異治也); the same disease is treated differently according to region, constitution, season and severity.
