10 herbs·from Shanghan Lun (Treatise on Cold Damage)
In the《Shanghan Lun》tradition, this formula is described for the "roundworm reversal" (蚘厥) pattern: in a cold-reversal illness the person is restless only intermittently, grows agitated after eating, and may bring up roundworms — distinguished from a deeper visceral reversal. The classical text adds it was also used for long-standing diarrhoea. A historical indication, not a modern diagnostic or treatment recommendation.
