榼藤子涩、甘，平，无毒。解毒消肿、涩肠止泻，治五痔、蛊毒、喉痹、小儿脱肛、血痢泻血。陈藏器谓主五痔蛊毒、飞尸喉痹，以仁为粉微熬水服，《开宝》载烧灰治小儿脱肛、血痢。
