Recorded in Bencao Gangmu for wind-stroke with chills and fever, counterflow qi below the heart with fright panting, dry mouth and parched tongue, and hard abdominal pain; clearing seasonal headache and body heat, great heat of the triple burner and skin heat, releasing the exterior to promote sweating, relieving wasting-thirst and vexation, and clearing stomach and lung heat.
